Dress Code

Balmore Golf Club has a "Smart Casual" policy but expects members, their guests, and all visitors to maintain an acceptable standard of dress at all times both on the course and in the clubhouse.

All changing of clothes (including shoes), before and after play, must take place in the locker rooms.

All recognised golf attire is permitted on the course. Tops should be tucked into trousers/shorts/skirts. Players must wear golf shoes.

Players should refrain from wearing the following when on the golf course:

• denim jeans
• football colours
• t-shirts
• trainers
• combat-style trousers
• working clothes
• overalls etc.

Clubhouse and Professional staff have discretion on acceptability of dress. Members are expected to ensure that their guests comply with the Dress Code. Organisers of visiting parties are responsible for ensuring that all members of their group are made familiar with these rules.
